Recent Developments in Strings and Fields

------ On the occasion of Y. Kazama”Ēs 60th birthday ------

Komaba particle theory group of the University of Tokyo will host a workshop Komaba 2010 as one in the series held at Komaba every few years (the last one was Komaba 2007). The aim of the workshop is to review and discuss recent developments in particle physics, in particular those in string theory and field theory, and explore possible future directions. As Prof. Yoichi Kazama turned sixty in October, 2009, we will hold a party for celebration on the evening of the first day, February 13.

  • Saturday, February 13 -- Sunday, February 14, 2010
    (Tentative schedule: the workshop will start at 9:30 am on Saturday and end around 5:30 pm on Sunday. The celebration party will start at 6:30 pm and end around 8:30 pm on Saturday.)
  • Location: Lecture hall, ground floor, building #18, at Komaba campus of the University of Tokyo

(Alternatively, you can use the registration webpage written in Japanese.) As we only have limited resources, financial support (and arrangement of hotels) for participants will not be available.
